Got one (Sony AM Stereo radio, that is) NIB. Bought it "back in the day." One of the first (maybe the first) AM stereo sets. Switchable AM stereo systems. Has historical value. Sounds like a transistor radio. (Does not "sound like a full sized boombox.")

Might be time for me to sell. Wink

In the event of a bidding war for this (don't hold your breath), you could contact the second placed bidder & offer yours for a bargain $400 Smile

I like how you think!! Nod Yes I'd even settle for $375. (I could make up for the loss by charging $125 for shipping.) Wink

(I don't know about the X-band, but I'm pretty sure this radio can be adjusted to pick up transmissions from Neptune... in stereo, of course!) Big Grin
