tpr - 2008-02-03 13:10

several boomboxes appeared with the 80s and 90s
labeled TEAC:

teac-offroad IBBN 7-01116

tpr - 2008-02-03 13:12

teac-unkn3 IBBN 7-08745

a neat red devil...

for TEAC : a quite poor & crappy box from the 80s

tpr - 2008-02-03 13:17

a quite strange unit:

tpr - 2008-02-03 13:20

this teac gf290 appeared as well under a dozen suspect labels....

no boombox
no sound
no quality

after three months :no function anymore:

a neighbor had one of them - indeed weird.

(manufactured in china)

TPR, a big "thumbs up" on that quad TEAC R2R there. A man after my own tastes! It even does "real" CD-4 quad! Big Grin

Thanks Jens for answering my question on previous teac boxes. So it's pretty fair to say that teac have only ever made ugly looking boomboxes. That new proto is by far the best looking box they have ever produced!!??
