Is the jvc m70lighter than the aiwa 880

radio.raheem - 2011-04-09 07:33

2 questions realy....how does the m70 compare in sound volume to the aiwa 880??

and number 2 is the m70 lighter than the aiwa 880??

Reason i ask is i took my much loved jvc pc55 for a strole today and just found her to heavy for distance carrying...so came home and picked up my 880...i still find that on the heavy side...so im hoping the m70 is as good soundwize and that it's lighter..thanks in advance...cheerz guys... next thing cumming up, the old trusty zimmer frame..

RR, both 880 and m70 are too heavy to carry around, i would recomend m9935k, rx5250, or any lasonic  or crown z5100, if you dont mind lower quality sound than the first 2.

The JVC PC 55/ 550 are indeed heavy... and getting heavier every day......wait a minute, I'm just getting older!

It was "portable" when I was a teen...

the m70 sounds fantastic on both tapes and radio-full bass and youre away-its fairly heavy though but should be alright to take it for a stroll.......nowhere near as heavy as a pc5 if you have one of those to compare it to lol.....try shouldering that and it would kill you

Ey up andy funny thing you should mention a pc5...that was the first stereo i bought when i joined here back in 2003/4the discription was so bad i thought it was a pc55 of wich i was after..yes it's to heavy like the pc55 lol try carrying a wx1 for a couple of miles..i did that a couple of yrs ago...gone are those days...i will probbly buy an m70 id like one but not to carry around...these radios are just to heavy these days..
