CCE CSC1000 Jumbo - First Paint Job (updated)

This post is a copy of my another one of Boomboxery.

Well, most of people know this is my personal grail. and after Bobby help me to make my dream com true (buy and ships to me a Helix HX-4630), I found a Brasilian version of that Helix.
But  very  issues, scratches, dents and more, make myself to try a paint job for this one and below, is show the pics of the Radio before and after (it´s my first custom paint job, because of that, the work its not amazing...

I like the new matte black color scheme, and the red stripe is a nice finishing touch.

Nice job. I know what a pain it is, spraying these boxes. Lot`s of masking to do.

i do like that spray job,and that box is amongst my faves,they were also sold under the brand candle,i love it !

Yes, lots of masks form "maybe" a regular results, bur I like so much that result!

That could work, if you haven't already,  try it in Photoshop first.

I do remember this box indeed being listed as a  Candle JTR-1287 here in Canada. It was sold at the now defunct, Consumers Distributing outlets.

Retro.

I have no idea how to use Photoshop in this case.
I´ll have try in another spare speakers that I have, before in the Radio speaker properly.

I also dont know how to use Photoshop and i dont have that programe either,but i would love to have it and know how to use it,i would play with all boombox pics and change the colours around,just for a bit of fun

 

oh and thank you brutus and hardmen for the different brand info,i love this box,i just think its the purfect shape and layout,everything is in the right place..
