Some of those late '80s three-piece Sanyos, though about as paine Jane looking as you can get, would really rock.

If it takes 8 D batteries chances are it's more impressive than it looks. The ones they made that ran on just 6 aren't so great.

I'm not sure about that one, but I had a double deck Sanyo from right around the same time that was quite impressive sounding. It was one of these, but marked Sanyo:

Thank's gentlemen....she actually dosen't look that bad....but i genuinly think the c9 is a different animal to the c12....3db the c9 actually takes 9 d's...and says 15v to run.....I wonder why some manifactureres actually only chose 9 d's for there boomers, when they actually would be better of with 10 d's ...
