My Hitachi

sega - 2011-08-06 17:32

Heres my Hitachi TRK 8110E so far.

As you can see Ive started covering it in stickers

Heres its knight rider style guage (Pictures arent great as I had to turn the flash off so the lights were visable)

So far Ive cleaned the head and outer casing, Jobs definately on my agenda are to straighten the handle and replace the missing dial.

Other things up with it are the clock display, its well and truly faded, airel is a touch bent, chrome is pitted and I dont like the grills much but Im not sure if theres anything that could be done about that, do you guys know?

Heres to many happy years deafening people where ever I may roam

I like this kind of boomboxes with the basic functions only and  decent size.Classic look!It shows out a very good portability. You are not expecting a sensational sound but it offers a good, decent boombox sound. The speaker grills is subject to easy replacement ,I think.I like the way you dedicated it to heavy metall.

Proberly when I get the right stickers, Metal hammer often have them as freebies but they arent always of bands I like or have heard of, theres a shop up in yarmouth that does some good ones, Ive got a ghetto blaster one (its not named as any particular one) and a gangster style skull and cross bones with tommy guns replacing the bones and the skull wearing a trilby hat whilst smoking a cigar stuck on my car.

Ill have to keep my eye on the skate and bike mags too, as they often have stickers.
