The most rare boombox is Marantz PMS-6000.

http://pocketcalculatorshow.com/boombox/golden6.html

As I know, till now that model of Marantz you may see it only in the Marantz brochures.

Also this model can be found from time to time on internet auctions but labeled with another name and model number - UNIX CRS-6000 or STANDARD CRS-6000.

So, if any of you ever had to be lucky to find this boombox with label Marantz PMS-6000, be sure that it will be winner of the gold prize.

Its surely different for everone, my own personal unicorn is a Bombeat 18.

samovar - 2014-06-25 11:15

how about this:

Mitsubishi_Diatone_TA-80

MITSUBISHI DIATONE TA-80

don't think I'll live long enough to ever catch one -- not even with the help of a virgin, as the legend has it

Dame à la Licorne , Paris au Musée national du Moyen Âge

(the legend actually says -- even less likely -- a Madonna)
