Persevering... Kaboom in UK?

mix.masta.mullet - 2011-09-08 17:02

Ive been after a 52w kaboom for a long time now. Bought one faulty but I can't make it work and the local electrician hasn't got a clue.
I really need to buy one, I've been scouring ebay and gumtree daily for a long time often when I spot one someone offers an underhand bid to the seller, rips them off and I don't get a look in.
Really getting frustrated, if anyone in the UK can sell me one please message me. I'll even arrange a courier.
Cheers, Alex

if you have a kaboom and there is no sound, have you tried checking the main board for some fusible resisters,or you even get them in the shape of a transistor, but instead of having 3 legs, they only have 2..they are also in the panasonic rx dt boxes,i changed a couple myself in dt680 once because there was no sound..

they look like this

I might possibly be able to get you one....the white one with cassette and mp3...but it could take a while...as the guy has cancer and is buisy dealing with that...he is selling it...but i suspect he wants something like £100 for it....so if i can get it...it will prolly cost £100 plus shipping....PLEASE dont press me on the issue...as i have had enough of that latley...but i will see what i can do...
