just bought a i-931 lasonic and would like to know if it is repairable ? the seller says that it wasn't switched over from US to UK power before being turned on ! says the transformer is blown ?

so would it blown the transformer - or any parts and can it be a easy fix ? I do have that repair guy in my pocket, so it shouldn't cost me any thing to get sorted,

just wanted to know if i bought a dead empty box that will look pretty in the lounge or weather it will live again and be a cool score ?

The i931 has a 12V DC input, so first, give that a try.

I'd be mildly surprised if the i931 has sustained any other electrical damage other than having a lunched AC input.

yeah im with I 42............i rekon the damage shouldnt have got past the trany side of the input.........

get a new trany from an electrical outlet CPC at preston have loads  ............Good luck BC
