litfan - 2011-10-07 08:40

I`m surprised, only raheem wants a decent box, the toshiba. No boxes for me thanks, just a brain transplant . There are some good boxes in that list though. In my own experience, i wouls ask people, especially to look out for the gf9797, m9990, r5600, cfs77, tpr950,968.

bison - 2011-10-07 09:21

andy im in the uk,sorry mate but that 828 is a keeper its in timewarp condition, dont think i will be able to pass on any on here theyre too common or small

litfan - 2011-10-07 11:19

There`s nowt wrong the 828. Great little box. I actually prefer it`s sound, to the 838.

radio.raheem - 2011-10-08 03:49

Yess there ugly andy lol any black box is...just had a sharp back to back for a 10nner of the bay...just arrived now with x bass (the propper x bass) ugly as sin but they sound TOTALLY sweet...nearly as good as the aiwa 880..but no where near as loud....this one needs alot of work...but there are people on the bay asking £50 quid for the same thing....gave my last one away too..the pleasure is in the fixing of them

andyboombox - 2011-10-08 04:24

i do enjoy fixing them nowadays tim pal-do you fancy another philips-shipping will be costly though lol

What is the box with the lightening strikes on the speaker grills? It looks awesome.

- 2011-10-11 16:43

Exactly as Seen in the Picture above on the wall of box's...

Shown are these model brands, numbers  an small comment...

As found information from wherever they are on the respective box's...

General sound - is there as it is EXACTLY the Same ( what part of exactly do you not understand ) as the Two other's except for the cosmetic's and the lack of blue...

KASUGA KC-2602. - General Sound Model no. R-808. - Nippon FS-2420.

All Three have different issue's...

The Kasuga brand seems to be the Father of all of these other, look-a-likes.

hifitom - 2011-10-13 02:02

Shure, I have a few Grundig RR-Models,

... but I can't list all my ghettos in here. The once I listed are my favorite once, those are in my sleeping room. The others are in a storage, don't know exactly how many ...

To the Sanyo:

Ohhhhh, I love this unit! I got a M 7500, M 7700 and a M-S 350 - those are great sounding little bboxes. I would love to know how the 7830 sounds ...

andyboombox - 2011-10-13 02:23

hey tim it was taking up a lotta space that philips so i sold it for a tenner mate-sorry

Yrs ago, on here it was known as the discobolt box sega....

- 2011-10-13 02:32

7830 sounds just like any box that size with just a bit more bass than other box's the SAME Size Cause it is just a bit larger but it is still - Back inside Crammed full of electronic's so no too much room for any extra bass notes to bounce around in ..

Look's Impressive but has NO Special sound emanating from this unusual looking box
