Saw one at a swap last year which I should have bought at $35.00 ~

 

It's construction was pretty amazing, everything about it was high quality...it was really heavy - like over 20 lbs. They date to about 1968 and surely inspired bbx developement in the 1970s...anything named Concert Boy has to be cool enough to own, right ?

grundig have made some big heavy radios i have sat 3000, 650.210.205.1400 but the daddy of them all is my sony crf-330k which is 17 kilos! with pull out tape deck.

Thats big for a portable radio, Ive got a few but no where near that size, biggest is my Hacker Sovreign II with 2 big batteries and my favorite is my little spiket with an atom enamal badge.
