i just dropped the start  price by 4 cents!!! and the shipping too!!  if you bid you may request more photos or its rear end, and its rear ennd opened up to reveal the vintage to modernly available  energy cell compartment.    why this high price? take diamonds for instance, each one is unique, but apart from looking good , or  when used as a cutting instrument or some present or  futuristic laser, a diamond is pretty useless. This ghettoblaster rocks, brings happiness, can virtually raise the dead. Also if a diamond were as big as this ghettoblaster it would be worth lots LOTS, LOTS more than 77 thousands or 177 thousand, so why should such an awesome boombox be worht less than this startign price?   if the boombox does not fetch a great price, i may consider doing a website or 1 900 number where people pay and call in to listen to it play a radio station in montreal for a fixed or per minute rate.  something like 1 976 boom box  1 $ a minute  it should l do very well.  photos, taken by menok,  with a sony cybershot 2.0 megapixel memroy stick camera i thought aout taken the photos with a 38 mm , printing and scanning for a more VINTAGE LOOK........LOL  please be advised, at no time was the seller intoxicated by any substance when this item was listed.  i even came back and did a little spelling correction to boot!  Given the number of mulitmillionaires and billionaires in this world, all it takes is one person or company or corporation to want to purchase this GB (ghettoblaster) and get to be very soon, much  more famous, more famous than giving to charity, so that they can make even more money and give even more to charity, wether known publicly or anonymous.. Of course if you are just a  millionaire, or have  just enough money or alitle more,  feel free to buy it too, the fame generated will probbaly get you back some, all , or more of the money you spend, and if you spend it elsewhere you will probably never see it again if invested unwisely.  i guess if the winning bidder want or even otherwise the boombox or winnign bidder will get in the guinness book of world records for most expensive boombox ever.  i think its a virtually guaranteed claim to fame, especially at x-mas time.  If people buy cars for 100 000$ and more why not this amazing ghettoblaster? HOW DO U KNOW THIS ONE IS THE ONE, CUS  WHEN I CHECKED I ONLY SAW ONE OTHER VINTAGE OLD SCHOOL boombox working radio LASONIC, DIFERENT MODEL.  CASETTE DECK ISN`T WORKING, AND I AM NOT GOING TO RECHECK IT MUch FOR NOW, I AM ELECTRONICALLY AND MECHANICALLY INLCINED YET REPAIR SHOPS OR SPECIALISTS OUT THERE MIGHT BE THE BEST THING. Delete last post, found out the seller a guy. But wonder if he has written consent from the models that he selling their photos and posting al over the internet. For commercial use, you need a model release. You can choose to take a risk and sell without one. By doing so you are opening yourself up to the possibility of a lawsuit.
