i had a dreamcast and about 70 games,my fave game was super runabout sanfransisco,i loved that game !! the consoles never lasted long,they had a crap lazer,i went through about 3 consoles in a year..

i got 2 original xbox's..i also have about 20 ps2's and about 80 games..i have about 5 ps1s and 250 games..i just bought my son one of these new xbox slim thingy's with 250hd and kinnect..i dont like the new crap,i like old skool..

This is an old thread but I would also like to purchase one of these massive Rexcel boomboxes.  The last one on eBay sold for ~$400.  Was that a good deal or just reasonable?

And does anyone have one they would like to sell?  US based for shipping purposes.

If that Rexcel unit you purchased is in good shape and fully functional I would say you got it at a very decent price.

I think you're right, I never see them.  I included a price history I just found on http://classicboombox.com/vintage-boombox-values, but may be old.  If anyone has one they want to trade, I've got some stuff.  Also, is it true that there are only two color variations, or are there more?  Anyone got pics of other versions past these two that I found?   (not my pics)
