just get yourself a fm transmitter mate...iv got one that plugs straight into my ipod and works very well...l i mostly only use that as it's wireless...no messy cables

Short answer: Yup.
... The Hitachi 3D50 has 'proper' line-in. That is, a CD/Aux position on the selector & two RCA/phono input sockets on the back. No pressing record required on this one.
The 3D50 is a good one too. Sounds similar to the 3D7 & 3D8, & able to take quite a pounding
