Heloo to everybody i just found this box today!!

I was thinking that there a lot of great opportunities

for finding great boxes out on the streets of Athens !

Maybe every member of stereo2go should think to come for

holidays this summer in Greece find some really nice blasters in very nice

prices  , enjoy our beautiful beaches and our mediterannean cuisine!

This way you can help our tourist industry also!

Anyway with a quick look this box has some static issues needs a very good cleaning

the cassete player is working but when i turn the volume up i get some noise and

the fm/am reception is really good. When i turn it up the left speaker doesnt make a good connection and i have to help it to get going!

I will clean it and take it to my technician to fix the issues that it has and i m thinking maybe after fixing it to trade it for some box from my wantlist, with a member that is intersted from here

Finally i managed to clean this monster !

the first picture shows what it looks like when its cleaned !

The second picture shows my find of the day  which is a Lasonic TRC-920

in fair condition and i m saying that because the

1.antennas are replacement

2.The handle is a replacement

3.it is missing the plexi glass from the cassete deck

4.one screw for holding the plexi is a replacement

5.it is missing a knob for the light.

6.The right channel LEDS are not working.

Otherwise it can play cassettes

and it receives radiowaves !

I don't know what to do with this box maybe sell it maybe modify  it

or maybe search for parts to fix it!

Any help would be appreciated !

It's impossible to determine the exact bar/place but i know it's in Thira somewhere.  I lived on Crete for 5 years and often stopped off in Santorini for a day or so.   Where's home for you deech?  I know you're not far from there.

It's looks like the buttons on the tape deck of your Lasonic 920 are replacement buttons too? I have two variations here of the Lasonic 920. One has the voltage selector for 110v/220v and the other is only 110v with some other slight differences inside also. Both have chrome buttons on the tape deck as are all the others i've ever seen, and your are gray so they must be from a different boombox.
