the thought wasnt there before i grew up with boomboxes the rx dt680 is a good find i feel i could have skept the whole home audio system now fm radio is ok i had so many cds and records plus satilite radio the fun was takin away tryin to pick a track lol

Soundboy, excuse this lot, we all started somewhere.  I think we agree the 680 is a nice 90's unit, or 'egg' as we call them.  Would be good to see some pics.

and a 680 is a great box....at times it sounds better than an m90 good start

soundboy, the 680 is a very desirable box, it was around 400 bucks when new, one of the best sounding boxes out there.

thanks for comments i stumbled on this sight lookin for info about my boombox im not a teckie (learnin my way around site)  but will continue with this site it is intresting. have alot to discover nice to see others with same intrests... in music ect.

That's exactly what i paid for mine back in the late 1990's $400.00 plus txs and despite all the incredible older boombox's out there,it sounds the best
