hi all,some of you may remember the post i put up recently regarding the tosh rt 8900 s on ebay that i really liked.

anyway i put up a link to the auction just to get peoples opinions on the box really as i thought it looked cool.

anyway after a few replies to the topic with a few members saying i should go for it, after hearing i did'nt have the funds to bid, member Stereo Mad ( lee )jumped on the topic saying he has one and i could have it at a low price.

on hearing this i replied immediately asking a price ect, next thing you know we were exchanging pm's and struck up a deal.

i'm posting this up now as today Lee has just shipped it out to me 48 hour courier

i'm eagerly waiting it's arrival now and i'm very excited to be honest.

not only has he let me have the tosh at a very low price, he as also told me that there's no rush for me to pay.

basically this cracking bloke is putting 100% trust in me and doing something that only happens in dreams by letting me have the box before payment

unfortunately i don't have a usb lead at the mo to upload pics on it's arrival

what i will do is post a detailed account of the tosh the day it arrives and hopefully add pics at a later date.

i now want to say a massive genuine thank you to Lee and hope i can return the favour one day.

Lee top gezer as you know he had  my boxes....he actually drove down to pick them up...and im glad they went to a good home....real top guy...

so that's 3 boxes now then lav....tosh philips and that rare big one piece  you had of andyboombox...the dawoo..well done mate....your starting to get some nice boxes again

me i had my boxed dp200 with everything, im over the moon about that lad

as it goes Reno i don't have the daewoo i sold it to Docs at the meet, the sound was very good and it was a real nice quality unit.

tbh one of the best iv'e ever owned.

so now i just have the d8614 and the tosh on the way

i'm gonna start a fresh now and stop selling boxes to pay bills ect, so now i wait for the tosh like a kid waiting for christmas lol

btw what's a dp200 mate??

the only box i miss lav is my gf1000 because it was connected to my deceased friend....ahhh the memories.....lee had my m90 880's 1000 and my last wx1......like i said don't miss em had a beautiful computer of it........im lucky though i guess...as i still have about 40 boxes like my kabooms rotel and crown 970..

i recon our lee must have by far the best collection on here now followed by docs

dp200 best kaboom ever made...much better than all the other kabooms.....it's in my av although the boxed one i have has the origional stickers the lot.....one sold for £170 other day.....just the boombox...so i recon mine is worth £400 lad but it's a keeper

thanks mate, yeah the daewoo went it was hard letting go but, needs must sometimes, and it's gone to a great home with Dave.

i can't keep up with myself sometimes but it's defo time for me to start a fresh collection only limited though

so the dp200 is a kaboom, heard Dels kaboom at the meet and was blown away by the bass it put out

not sure their my kind of thing but there's no denying their great boxes, congrats on yours

thanks lav i have 3 now.....mine is like dells but with clarity as it has treble control....it also has cd speed control and led's...also has 2 bass controls unlike all other kabooms that only have one bass control......only thing i hate is those ugly drumpads haha

dell did very well tho as he only paid £20 for his if my memory is correct

Cost us £150 all in as the guy ended the auction for me lav.i just can't justify spending daft money on boxes anymore..not on the dole anyway..otherwise i would have had no chance son...it's in the box on my shelf....the box is so decorative in it's self....not boring like an m90 carton

yeah i can see the box in your avvy, never had a boxed one yet it's always a bonus when they come boxed.  tbh even if i had the money to splash out i don't think id'e ever pay crazy money for any box, a few hundred max probably, just for the sheer principal of it

TOTALLY son.. my other boxes just sat there most of the time (the ones i sold to lee) i was just to scared to use them...they cost me top$$$$ just sitting there.....if i had had them cheap i would of kept them....might shock people but the m90 altho a top box i just found myself critisizing the sound half the time....if it had been cheap i could have lived with it for ever...but for what i paid i just couldn't live with it.....im sure lee loves my boxes more than i ever could...so he richly deserves them lad...

lee i want my flippin gf1000 back ya bugger hehe
