Hi all,

    I have bought hundreds of items off ebay over 10 years.  Often saw the offer for warranty on say a 20 year old walkman and thought to myself yeah sure waste of time they are not going to fix anything.   I recently bought a Panasonic RX-DS650 which has a CD player on it and a better quality boombox and was offered the Square Trade Warranty for $15.99 One Year and $23.99 for Two year.  Seems the One year would be a good idea if they actually really did fix something wrong especially with it having CD player now 23 years old.

QUESTIONS:
1.  Anyone buy the eBay warranty and make a claim.  How did it work out?

2.  Like most warranty companies do they fight you and try to not repair?

3.  With a boombox does this warranty have local shops that you can take box too or do you have to

     put in mail which I dont want to do obviously.
