can anyone tell me if my old machine is worth anything,the radio works but the rubber is perished in the tape deck,otherwise in good condition,many thanks

and  are the speakers still any good as they are prone to rot the surrounds of the woofer's by this age in time?

hi and welcome to the site,  i have just completed a refurb on one they sound fine to me where abouts are you based .

Thanks Guys,i will try the speakers tomorrow,she sounded great a year ago but the wife said we didn't have room for her after our last baby so i've been using her as a prop on photo shoots at work,the Aiwa not the wife!!!

If the speakers are ok, I will buy it! My last one ended up as too big a project.

I have one aiwa ca-w10 // with replaced speakers // and have the orginal speaker's "woofers"

can  post a picture later if desired
