lav.loo - 2012-11-20 05:24

ok i'm a big fan of graffiti art and although iv'e never tried it i have drawn it on paper on a few occasions.

i love all art and i can pretty much draw and paint anything to a good standard.

always loved graffiti though so i thought id'e get my pen out and have a doodle lol.

i'm thinking of following this up with bigger more colourful graffiti over the coming weeks so here goes.....

Clearly good work there Arron, maybe get a working but beat up box that needs repainting anyway and set to work on it with stuff like this

stereo.mad - 2012-11-20 06:52

you can buy spray paint made just for graffitti az,car paint is what we used in the eighties, look at these colors, good for matching paint on boxes

chart

lav.loo - 2012-11-20 07:55

ah right mate, il'e use car paint then and keep it eighties lol

naah seriously i bet the proper spray is dear and quiet exclusive to a limited number of shops.

that colour chart looks the biz Andy, for now i think il'e stick to pen and paper lol but i may give the paint a bash at some point.

i wonder if you can still buy them fat markers that had a ball inside and you had to shake em, loved em, think they was called posta, poster or summat?

great for tagging, used to do the buses regular with em lol

northerner - 2012-11-20 08:12

Right bunch of Tony Hart's / Rolf Harris's

Ha ha...actually I'm always seriously impressed by anyone with artistic ability and graffiti absolutely counts as art in my book.  I'm not totally talentless in this area myself as it runs in the family, my brother's a graphic designer and is really good...he's going to do some boxes graphics for me when I get round to sending him some pics to work from.

Az - there's definite talent in that sketch mate

Bison - I was known to knock around Afflecks in the late 80s so might have seen your artwork!

i borrowed my avatar from the work of argentinean graffiti artist sonni

sonni

you may or may not like his style (i do). given the subject of the present work, however, how to dislike his signature?

tape

i wish i could have him paint the walls of my new house. but i'm afraid that his fee would cost more than the whole renovations

It is always good to know that members from the forum like bison and Lav

have some serious skills on painting! Especially graffiti painting ! i m amazed with the pieces i saw from both of you!

Unfortunately what i do is stenciling which i consider easy..

My  avatar shows my appreciation to this guy which is a very well known street artist in the UK.
