Nice little box. I got a spare cd box but it's reserved for swapping for a sharp qt27 I spotted in use in a charity shop back where my folks live, assuming its still there when I go back...great minds think alike LOL

Everywhere i go i do the same !

When i listen to music in places like that or offices etc.

I m trying to spot where the music comes from

Usually it comes from units like in the 1st pic .

Never spotted a box this way although i have my eyes open !

Great for finding the Sharp Retrolad !

Is it the one in the 2nd pic?

If yes then this unit is really really beautiful !

My mate Rick had the GF450. It had the classic, bright Sharp sound. Not so much bass, but went pretty loud.

General consensus was that my Philips D8134 was more than a match for it, sound-wise. That's how it was then. When someone in our group of mates got a new boomer, we'd check out whose sounded the best.

My place at the top of the pile didn't last long: my mate Mark rocked up with Shannon blasting out of his brand new Philips D8438 & it was game over for me.

I didn't get a look in until I got my Hitachi 3D7. That really knocked 'em for six... Happy days...

hang on...flu jabs?...don't you have those when you're an old age pensioner?

should retrolad really be called retrograndad?

tardpie - 2012-11-27 08:49

I never get flu shots. Maybe I should start.

Yeah deech its the one in pic 2! Ha northerner im only 25 but i get em for free to stop me being ill where everyone pays 8 quid! Joys of knocking of the practice manager perks indeed

northerner - 2012-11-27 11:30

25....I've got trainers older than that LOL

Hang on...practice manager is a serious job, no way she's 25...gotta be way older than that...who's a naughty boy then!?

retrolad - 2012-11-27 11:40

Correct she is older indeed!
