Thinking of mounting these technics to a jvc pc55..to create the ultimate boombox

bought them for my stack but as i say im seriously thinking of putting them on 1 of my jvc pc55 if they are the correct size

Nice to see you back again. I would keep thoses Technics the way they are, they are nice speakers treat them to some nice stands instead. Plus the JVC won't be able to drive thoses as you will clip the internal amp and damage the drivers

Thanks for your kind words guys....well the speakers have arrived....they will not be going on my pc 55 i havn't opened them yet but let me tell you i can hardly lift them

 

retrodos how can i wire bi wired speakers on a normal amp my friend????ie the amp is not bi wireable

Sure have came with a bus/jumper bar, but you can run jumper wire, or bus/jumper bar in parallel, positive to positive negative to negative, like done on my speakers below.

Thanks retodos....that's what i thought. just wanted to make sure......i hope these have a crossover installed...I just tried to lift them into my main room jeez i can't lift em. they must be made of stone lol

They sure, unless the original owner took them out and ran a external one.

these speakers have always intrigued me

 

not just because they're made in Spain

 

The rear is a sub and not a passive radiator

Here is virtually the same speaker....but the cheap version half the weight but sound virtually the same....running both sets now...what a sound
