Well if I can only pick one, then I'd pick the one that gave me the most satisfaction in getting it from junk to gleaming and cost a ridiculously low amount of money...that would be my Sharp VZ2000 for £30 that I picked up locally.  If I was picking best quality then I'd go for my JVC M70 or my Sharp GF9494 but for the most satisfaction I'm going 2000

Dell was it you that managed to bag your 880 for 50 quid a few weeks ago lad....one sold on the bay for £50 i think it may have been you jammy soso..crown 980 nice box but i would still say the 970 is better as it takes more batts.....no dolby though like the 980...congrats on both counts chris

yeah its all fixed up , managed to get all the missing knobs deck done etc sounds great .

Jammy sod hehe congrats well done lad...you need eyes like a hawk when it comes to the bay......my 880 was also 50 quid....since selling most of my boxes i havnt looked on the bay for boxes in ages.....hey chris remember that black jvc thing you found us lad....get one son it knocks spots of the 880.....wish i could find another.....i would gladly pay £200 to have this one repaired.....as my main man beaniman has dissapeared

I'm super happy with this, from what I gather it's pretty rare too! And something very special indeed, some brand new tapes found in a box at work by a member of my team who knew I liked tapes!
