you can post as many as you like but they must be your absolute best il'e start with my crap

Where's the Thread for your "Worst" boombox-shots

northerner - 2013-01-17 05:43

The Daewoo with the blue sky behind is the clear winner out of that lot...its a fab photo

northerner - 2013-01-17 05:46

I'm at work so only have a few pics here (not sure why I have any!) and its my avvy pic.  Not particularly arty or special but it is bright and colourful

p1040484

I do keep looking out for a suitable backdrop for taking some cool pics but I need something a bit 'urban' for it to look right, everything around here is a bit 'rural'...boxes don't look so cool with a backdrop of fields, sheep, cows, trees etc

If I find somewhere when the weather improves I'll take some boxes for a day out and try for some better pics.

Lav, I like the look of the GE. Which one was it, and how did it sound?

Lee, The second from left sharp looks mean; is that a GF1000?

How good is the Sanyo 920? I have been studying Sanyo M-X machines for a few days and their 650 looks a lot like an Aiwa 770. Which came first, I wonder....

lav.loo - 2013-01-17 08:39

the GE is the 5259A model, aka blockbuster, lovely sounding radio no question Nick

and the mx920 is a great sounding unit also, very loud with plenty of boom, quality sounding
