just thought id'e put a post up regarding my loss of interest in boxes and my decision to take a back step from st2g.

just of late i seem to have totally lost all interest and so i have decided to call it a day.

i wa nt to take this opportunity to thank everyone who as been a good friend to me since my arrival here back in 2010.

i don't know if this will be a permanent leave or wether il'e be back at some point in the future but for now i will be stepping back.

there is a number of reasons for my departure some of which are personal but the main factor is loss of interest.

once again thankyou to all who have made me feel welcome, and a big thankyou to the members who have helped me out and sent me gifts ect, you know who you are.

also a big thankyou to the moderators who made me a mod so soon some years back.

take care all and continue to keep this place as great as it's always been, your good friend Lav loo.

I have lost interest in my boxes from time to time but, as others have said, keep the door open.

The whole idea of having a hobby is doing something that makes you happy so do as much or as little of any hobby as you want, if boxes arnt floating your boat at the moment take some time off. Stop looking at ebay, stop looking here and boomboxery and just have a break from the scene.

Who knows, in couple of months the weather may be warmer, life may feel a little better, you may be walking past a boot sale and see a nice box under a pile of junk, pick it up for £3 and find yourself back here with the enthusiasm of a newbie.

Joking aside, you are among the guys that have inspired me to converse about and seek to own more and more boom boxes over the last year. I now have about 65 and am always looking for more!

I get that our interests suffer from the ebb and flow of day to day life and we are not the people that we once were nor are going to be but certain highs in our otherwise mundane lives will return from time to time and warm our hearts again. Make sure you keep the two machines that you have and remember to enjoy them when you can. I have no doubt that you will be back and will once more extol the virtues of the D8614; lest we forget. Take care.

im with you azz mate,as you know,apart from great traders like you,si,and others on here theres no boxes in the wild and the flame has gone out.....again.so i am taking a break frrom this hobby and moving onto other fields of interest,sorry guysi mean,the trades with other lads is great,but the passion and excitement of finding radios in the wild has been taken away from me and azz,by the fools who think they can charge what they like on ebay,so thats it....and from me azz its been a pleasure having all your input on here too....brothers forever bro

So basically LavLoo u needed a listening ear cause of the doubts floating around in your head of how u felt about the Forum/Boomboxes etc. maybe u still need to chill for a while to recharge the batteries/Clear your head so to speak, but thats for u to think about. But if your staying its a good look.
