this boombox is made in indonesia on back say's made by victor company...

it has blue lights that go with music and has a tape deck with aux input

can anyone tell me if this jvc kaboom has any sanifigents in the collectable sence

yes -it sure is collector box -it is a good sounding model -with lots of bass -

the lights are cool -

we call it a ' junior kaboom '

its about 70% the size and sound of the big kabooms

I've always called this version the Kaboom lite & not just because it's got lights on it there is a version of this boomer without them.

My main reason for the name is because it's smaller & doesn't have the big woofers at either end; the front firing speakers are all you get. They're bass reflex loaded & it still provides good sound, just but not the full size Kabooms exceptional bass output.

That's a JVC.  The Victor is # RV-X55, without the lights.  Never seen a Victor w/ lights...

I have the same one i use it as a kitchen radio not sure as anything collectable thus why it's used there.The Mini Kaboom is a great all round carryall but not a collecter peice,soundboy this is only my opinion.
