ok here goes, where i live there's been some renovating of the blocks of flats i live in.

lots of work by the landlord of my next door block going on, well anyway yesterday morning i was making breakfast and just happened to glance down in the opposite flat below. i could'nt believe what i saw in the kitchen of the flat, it was early morning and the sun was shining right through into the kitchen. anyway what i saw was nothing less than twin ariels sticking up, that's all i could see just the ariels. i knew straight away it had to be a box so threw on my trainers and shot down stairs to have a look.

i stood on my tip toes and peered through the window and low and behold, a sharp gf 555 in real tatty condition with both ariel tips missing it must be the work mans radio so i just clambered back up the stairs feeling gutted. anyway the moral of the story is ya just never know how close a box may be to you and it could of easily of been a much better box.

tbh Glen i've never liked the 555 and it was in a pretty bad state, if it would of been in good nik then maybe. now if it would of been a grail it would of been a smash and grab job
