My $1 Sony CFS-930

I picked this up today at a yardsale for $1. It is in great shape and has very very few scuffs. Most look like they will wipe up with a damp rag. I am uploading a video of it on Youtube

Congrats Mike, great find indeed! Stunning yellow look, like a Lamborghini Gallardo.

Something else pretty cool is that you can unscrew the handle from the top and you can put it on the side

Hi Mike and Stereo to Go in general.

My wife has that exact machine. She love(d) it but with mp3's she was forced to move on.

She still refers to it fondly from time to time so I dug it out the other day and I've added a line-in to it (which is very easy to do and I am happy to share) and will "give" it back to her for Christmas.

The one problem I'm having is getting a new power adapter for it. I'm wondering if you would read the specs off the power block for me so I can try to track one down somewhere?

I'd be tremendously grateful for that information as I can't seem to get it elsewhere.

That's a cool radio. Got one in my bathroom. Auto reverse is great! And when it gets dusty I put it under the shower to clean. It's really water resistant

That's cool. Not sure if I'd be that brave especially not with the line-in in there now.

Do you have the power adapter for it still? If so will you let me know the specs it has. I know it's 9V but I really need to know what current.

I do have a power adapter, but it isn't the original one. Not enough current, cause when I put it loud the LEDs dim and the sound distorts. But do you really need an adapter? I use mine 15 to 30 minutes a day for almost a year now with the same batteries!

That’s cool, really like the detachable handle
