What do you guys think of a Sharp HK-9000? Its huge and works on D-cells.. So technically a boombox... Can get a working one for 100 euros... is it worth having this?

Its a monster!...not my cup of tea but I think (I might be wrong) its got a good sound, but don't quote me! Not sure of its value

Yep, I will test before I buy it.... Its also not really my kind of box. I like them silver... But I also like big boxes, and this is one of the biggest...

Also not sure of its value.... Cant find much about it...

100 euro is a steal......who cares about its value

the HK-9000 is a beast.....i had one but sold it....not into three piece units...but if i had to choose one id get it...

that's true, who cares whats it worth... I think it's worth 100 to ad to my collection... 

great box along with the 939, i love the look and sound of these boxes, personally id'e grab it if it's in nice order

I'd say grab it, not my favourite box, a bit flappy and has clearly inherited the worst of Sharp's build quality issues but the price is right.  These were changing hands for £800 about 4 years ago

a bit left field for me now but yeah go for it,never did have one and i hear they sound swell

Going to get it next Wednesday... I'm sure I wont ever sell it for the same price locally and shipping this beast is hardly an option... But who cares, I just want to see if I can get some kind of bonding with it... I'm not in this hobby to make money anyway...

Got it! Its really a beast! Hugh in size and sound! Lots of highs and bass... My other boxes sound like small transistor radios suddenly..

Everything works, both decks, clock, radio... And its in a good shape. I think I really gonna like this box!
