IRA from memory this has very good sound it takes 10 d's and is rated at 60w pmpo....not the loudest but very good sound.....i took my original one apart and from what i remember the bass cones were very similar to the ones in the dt680 both in magnet size and diameter....so from a guess i should imagine she will sound slightly better than a panna dt707 cobra egg as the speakers are bigger than a dt707.......although the dt707 is rated at 70 watt pmpo and the dt680 80w pmpo....the ambiance found on no other fd80 should give her an exiting twist combined with her 5 band eq

The only other box im after by panasonic is another one of those that i bought from docs...with the afd speakers.....i can't remember the model no..........my girlfriend seems to have thrown mine out.....so it's over between us

Classic DT that's my fave part of the movie lol......drip she isn't very big but this wasn't a cheap boombox....it retailed over here for £350 and is not to be mixed with other cheaper vertical cd boomboxes.....most retailed at £199 here....and yes 10 motha plucking d's my friend....i used to fill the boombox up enough back in the day

Please let me know if you see another panasonicfan...im 100 percent i had mine in 87 due to the music that was out....is this a revised model as it has ambiance and mine didn't  which could enplane why you think 1988....in the auction the seller says there is a date on her which says 1986

thats a lovely panasonic r.r-ive always liked panasonic,was loyal to them in the 90s when i was a teenager buying new radios and walkmans,and i currently own a basic c39 and a much nicer rx 5020.keep on blastin buddy but hifi still rules
