Does it cost more to send from Canada then the rest of the US or is that expensive?

I buy old school bmx's from the states and can get frame/forks/bars in a large box, weighing over 20lbs, shipped to my door for $90!

Is this your own sourced quote or one that was provided? It does seem high but it doesn't suprise me. Not sure about the UK but you get burned here when importing goods with the duty tax.
