I Just took a part A Magnavox D8443 & D8444 and gave them a Good Warm Bath. They were in Bad Shape. Joy Did it for Me. Soaked for about 20min.

depends how grubby it is Smeats, as mentioned a good bath if very dirty iv'e never had a real dirty box so have never needed to go to that trouble fortunately. for usual dirt and surface muck I use alcohol free baby wipes and cocktail sticks to get into the nooks and crannys pics of your new arrival pls

Thanks guys. Taking the back off is no probs but all kind of stuff would need to come apart to get the front dettached!

Lav, Im itchin to post photos but not untill its a little more presentable! I have used car interior wipes and a cotton bud so far but it still looks a bit manky.

Novus plastic cleaner/polish #1 cleans, polish, sanitize all in one step. Works great on stains and is safe on every surface.

Small sponge, hot water, washing up liquid, and elbow grease. Cotton buds and cocktails sticks for hard to reach bits. Nicotine will come off no problem with the soapy sponge and a bit of rubbing.

And of course a full bath is preferred
