where is Rdbenjoe when you need him...i don't think there is much known about this boombox...i do know it has a power amp....and i have the rare battery pack too

michiel - 2013-06-09 13:13

Can it be said that Pioneer boxes are excelent in general? I only have one, but is sounds so awsome that I become a little Pioneer greedy  (is this proper english?). Or should I be aware for really shitty models? Is it like, how higher the number the better it is?

radio.raheem - 2013-06-09 13:19

michiel this is the highest model pioneer ever made (as far as im aware)....im suprized i had her so cheap....i think peppin had one for sale a few months ago but i thought he was asking silly money imho so i left it there

michiel - 2013-06-09 13:46

You must be lucky to get it for cheap! It looks really cool with the white handle! I have never seen it before, but I wasn't interested in Pioneer boxes at all... It does look like a real quality box! Hope someone can tell more about her!

redbenjoe - 2013-06-09 13:56

yes RR --you scored one of the true greats --

in terms of looks and quality -- its very very special -

and RARE -

as for sound --

its all a matter of personal taste // preference between this grand pioneer

and other TOTL 3 piecers like the rotel 10 , the sony FH7 , etc

radio.raheem - 2013-06-09 14:59

It's not all good news ira as you may have guessed deck dosent work speakers need reforming i may trade her if the task is to hard for me...what would you say is a worthy trade my friend

Trashed in the post....another box, brutally treated like a box of rocks Good luck Reno...I hope she gets the mending she deserves

Yeah, just to prove a point I made a little video of the awesome M90.
No way a Unisef would ever take its place!

oldskool69 - 2013-06-21 19:46

You are looking at one of the mighty Pioneer CK Series.  This configuration is the CK-11 (with digital tuner). With the outboard amp, will out run and gun anything out there on mains power.  On batteries it depends on its main unit in the receiver section.  The power amp is mains only.  These came in multiple configurations and variations which could be custom ordered if so desired.  CK-3, CK-5, CK-7 (Japan Only), and CK-11.  I heard there was a CK-9 that was Japan only but haven't seen so I cannot confirm.  It was likely another configuration package.
