Just got this piece in the mail. Won it at auction on ebay. Sounds pretty good! Just changed the belt on this one and it is as good as new. I do need to clean it up a bit though.

I know these pictures of your Sanyo M9830K were posted over two years ago, but I echo Northerner and andyboombox when I say that's a good-looking, clean-looking Sanyo you got hold of before summer that year. My Sanyo is far smaller and (I suspect) less distinguished (the M-1770K  ). But let me ask: does your Sanyo come with a tape counter? These Eighties-vintage boomboxes were typically equipped with a tape counter; handy for locating and memorizing positions of music or non-music audiotape recordings, you know. (Speaking of tape counters, I state here that my Sanyo doesn't have one .)
