honestly...£50 in the state you discribe

northerner - 2013-07-10 08:15

Not sure of that model but it looks the business...250 is waaaaay over the top though, think what else you could get for that money.

Personally my immediate reaction would be less than 100...but then I'm a cheapskate lol

bison - 2013-07-10 08:20

nice looking box, twin vus, soft touch deck..whats not to like about it,got to be worth more than 20,they dont come up that often

bison - 2013-07-10 08:23

^forgot to mention Deech 250 euros is way too much

yeh its a lovely looking machine, would definitely snap one up, as long as it was the right price

deech - 2013-07-10 08:32

I like it but sorry 250 is expensive !!

I could have give for it somewhere between free and 100 E tbh .

I think it is a flagship model though.

I just want to see some thoughts on it !

michiel - 2013-07-10 08:37

Depends how it feels and sounds. If it is good quality and perfect working I would go for 100 euros...

deliverance - 2013-07-10 08:40

use some of your charm on him but there again he might charge you more .

lav.loo - 2013-07-10 08:54

the beautiful sanyo mx720, here's a link to an old auction, sold for more than your contact is asking. judge for yourself, it is a real beauty but I still think 250 E is too much

You really need to hear one of these, beautiful sound. Worth it IMHO, but ugly as hell.

Litfan do you own one ?

litfan - 2013-07-11 06:29

I had one deech. I swapped it with fuzzyduck, for a 9994. Very nice sounding box though. Bit too much alumium for me. I like a full size radio dial.

deech - 2013-07-11 06:32

Lit compared with the Sanyo M9994 which one wins?

I mean in audio terms .

Is this one rarer?

andyboombox - 2013-07-11 06:32

i think its super nice....not got one but i can see from the pic how nice it is,it has the real sanyo mx920 quality to itbut 250 euros is ludicrous.you can get a 920 for less than that and i would have to say thatas the best one

litfan - 2013-07-11 06:37

The 720 is rarer. Soundwise, the 720, just takes it, as, it has a better quality deck than the 9994, plus, it has a flat main belt, as opposed to the 9994`s square. I got mine, for a BIN, on ebay uk, about 10+ years ago. It was £150.

deech - 2013-07-11 06:41

Well 10 years ago 150 pounds must be todays 250 euros.

And by your description and Andys too which i trust both by the way this

is a hell of a machine.

So it doesnt get far from 250 eh?

northerner - 2013-07-11 07:34

ha ha seems like you're talking yourself up to the 250

it seems from opinions that its a top quality box and fairly rare so I think you need to beat the price down and buy it Deech

deech - 2013-07-11 07:45

Yep Northerner i m trying to convince myself about it !!!

But i really cant afford that amount of money and

i m sure the guy wont drop down a bit !!

If i ll take this my vacation will vanish in thin air !

I can live without it but i will think of it for a couple of days !!

Great box anyways

deech ,

in my opinion the sanyo 720 is a beautiful machine its got the high quality feeling to it,

if it needs work maybe a bit too much, but if it was in very nice condition and fully  working can go for a lot more. i have one and is great to use it once in a while.

to go or stay?

docs - 2013-07-17 03:14

Really nice unit that Deech, in my opinion it would be around £150 tops and in very good condition at that. They are quite rare I think but they aren't really that much of a flagship unit for a Sanyo imho which is why they shouldn't demand higher value.
