INSIDE THE JVC M70

Hey guys just received my M70 and she need a little repair..tuning is out of wack, tape deck belt is toast and she needs a deap cleaning.thought i would share the inside of the radio with you..will post pics when i am done with repairs...

Nice machine. One of the reasons, the radio goes out of line, is, the pointer housing, catches on raised solder joints. A simple answer is, put a piece of card over the board. This allows the pointer to move freely, without snagging.

The M70 is the epitome of the
classic boombox styling of the early 1980s.
When you are done put the music loud and dance !

yeah,good luck with the repairs and get her cranked when shes done,believe me she will thank you for it but the neighbours woulnt

Fab box but I prefer the outside if I'm honest 
Internal pics are actually hugely useful for anyone not sure of doing a repair so thanks for posting...done mine so I know the inside but useful for those who haven't

i scored this baby for $120.00 that was a deal and a half ..i quess they thought it was beyond repair..it pays to know...she makes #32 in my collection now...

i have a m70 i bought lately and compaired to the m90 my thoughts are that... the are as equally good as they are equally different or in other words they both rock and it great to own them both!!!

I ve noticed
that it is missing a screw that
holds the tape door in place.
Where one can find this kind of screws for any
box since there are quite a lot of boxes that
are using them for this purpose..
Anyone that knows it would be of great help.
Oh and Your JVC BB lookS nice on the outside too!!
