Boombox back

northerner - 2013-07-28 13:54

I'm suffering from the above having spent the entire afternoon cleaning boomboxes!

Had a great time and my Sanyo 920 now gleams! The front was already pretty clean but I spent some time detailing it. The back was well grimy so that came off and had a bath...it's now super clean

Had my newly fixed Aiwa TPR990 playing for the afternoon and its fab now it has both channels working thanks to Docs...got a great sound too it with plenty bass...it's now on kitchen duty

Stripped and cleaned the little red Sanyo too.

All in all I had a great afternoon but my back is not happy now...but you have to suffer for your art lol

Ah so back in the day, these boomboxes caused bad backs when people carried them around, nowadays they cause bad backs when people clean them!

Congratulations on the now super-clean Sanyo M-X920 also! That model is an absolute stunner in minty condition.

I have to clean mine asap after I got them, they've got to be squeaky clean inside and out and I spend hours doing it...if I was faced with 35 boxes all needing cleaning I'd probably have a heart attack!  And my back certainly wouldn't hold out lol Its not been the same since I fell off a horse 20 years ago lol...f**king hate horses now, the b*stards
