i bought this for a fiver

tape deck doesnt work but radio does and it sounds really good believe it or not.

its a binatone sportable mk4 and i cant find anything even remotely similar on the net.

does anyone have any info at all about this?

i like it a lot and i am sure it sounds good too. it's a tipical box of the 70s, which means quality and an elegance of its own. the look is familiar, it reminds me of certain early aiwas of the tpr series -- compare, for instance, the grills of your mk4 with those of the 830, and the top with that of the 840.

its probably known under a different brand name outside the uk,it looks early id say 79ish
