Just had this shipped in from the US...after several failed attempts to get a replacement volume pot for my M70 I've finally succeeded!!! It's the correct pot and resistance levels seem to measure spot on so I can FINALLY get my M70 so that the right and left volume levels match....VERY happy! Will fit it this weekend so fingers crossed everything is as spot on as I think!!

It's silly how much joy you can get from one small spare part lol

It's already had a new tape deck door shipped from France so this M70 is an international box

In the bottom 3 features of a box thread you said seperate left and right volume controls, you're right it is pointless! Now I can see where your dislike for that feature came from! Crongrats on getting it fixed!

congrats northerner, hey is it possible to connect both channels to one slider? this way you eliminate the hassle of having 2 sliders .

Yeh dual volume controls have got to be THE most stupid feature ever...completely pointless and irritating. I'd imagine if you put both channels thro the one slider it would either crap out completely or come out in mono...wasn't going to attempt that!

Saturday afternoon I'm aiming to fit it, want to do it now but have to go to work!...boo!
