Where to Post? JVC PC-M100 JW/C

martymcfly - 2013-09-06 16:06

I just scored a unit I have been searching for for sometime now.  In my mind it is the best of both my loves, the JVC PC-M100 JW/C.  The unit is in near mint condition only the tape part doesn't work (Belt I am Sure) with the manual too.  An Ebay find for 80.00 and the lady lives 20 miles away from me.  Practically in my back yard.  JVC was alwas at the top of my list for the ingenuity and design.  Any one have one of these and Change the belt in the Walkman part?  Is it a nightmare?  I found the service Manual on Hi-Fi Engine.com so when it arrives I will of course look at it with loving eyes for awhile and then open her up for a repair.  Keep you all updated.

I've always liked this mini for some reason. Maybe it is its compact, walkman based design or ??

Good for you Marty. I would have snagged this if it was in mint shape as well. $80.00 well spent IMHO. Just need some more pics now..

I like the look of that very much. I like technical innovation and while it was probably not the first of the type, and definitely not the last; i think it is the best looking. What does it sound like?
