So..... today I go into Boston which is a town about 30 miles from where I live to get my sons birthday present for Friday. After buying my lads present I decided to have a walk round the town in search of you know what anyway I passed through an outdoor market selling allsorts of crap and on doing so heard music playing from something that sounded very bassy I walked over to the stall where the music was coming from and on the floor in the corner I saw a beat up jvc kaboom in camouflage green wired up to a car battery lol. After the disappointment of it being in a real bad state I decided not to ask if it was for sale and carry on with my search.

After 10 mins of walking through back streets I came across a unit selling used electrical appliances, fridges, cookers, washing machines ect.

I don't usually try these places but today I felt an urge and decided to go into the unit by off chance. On entering the shop there was an oldish fella sat chilling on an old sofa so I immediately asked do you have any old ghetto blasters by any chance He looked at me with a grin and said with a cheeky east end accent DO YOU MEAN THE BIG BRIXTON BRIEFCASE THINGS lol. We got chatting and he said that last year he cleared a house in Skegness and there was a huge collection of them maybe about 20 or 30 he said apparently he put them in his unit with price tags of between £5 and £10.

He said they had been sat there for around 9 months and none sold so he took them to the tip a couple of month back I knew he was telling the truth as a lady in the office verified his story. Anyway after further chat with him he said he may still have a few in his warehouse storage and will take a look for me He took my mobile number and said he will call me in due course, that made me feel a little better after the story I just swallowed So I now wait impatiently and pray he finds me something special at a good price. Oh I almost forgot..... I passed a music shop selling records and cd's and spotted this great album cover in the window so shot it for all you clash fans

Either that or they haven't fully worked the vanadalism concept out.  I know Lincolnshire folk, born and bread in Spalding etc.

lav.loo - 2013-09-12 06:45

Yeah I recall you saying you was born and bred in Spalding Cris, Boston is not a great place tbh but for a nearest town to me it's either Grimsby or Boston A far cry from Manchester.
