My second Aiwa CS-600 turned up today. Needs a good clean and tape deck requires a new belt but initial impressions are good! Heads and pinch roller look good (always a bonus!) so another one for the collection!

It was shipped via a 3 legged mule that had over dosed on Horlicks!  Always been a bit of a hoarder; Sigmund Freud would say it was somthing to do with my childhood or potty training or something!

There is nothing wrong with having more of the same  Indeed a nice pair Seb. They look good in pairs!

They sound similar, don't know if it's my imagination but maybe the new one sounds slightly crisper.

Thanks mate, I have been posting a lot!! The fact that you and others like it makes it all worth while!  I've had a hell of a lot of enjoment out of it and I've picked up a lot of tips and advice from you all as well!

Cheers Brutus!  The belts are pretty easy to change on these. (Take it that Pioneer boxes are a pain then! Some of their home decks are tricky as well!)
