Anyone seen one of these before?

thebaron - 2013-11-03 11:52

I just bought this and two 555s from the same guy as restoration projects as there is not a lot else to do during these long nights LOL.

Has anyone ever seen one of these can't seem to find anything on the net about it.

i wonder if the 333 O'General box was produced by the same O’General company -- the joint venture of ETA-Ascon, Dubai and Fujitsu General Limited, Japan -- which today manufactures air conditioners. no matter what, a 333 box with 3 tape decks looks like a no-nonsense unit

I wondered who got that...chucked in a last second very low bid but you beat me...just thought it would be fun having another triple deck. Let us know how it turns out

Glad someone overbid me with this one! I worried for three days that I would have to ship that piece of junk over here because I wanted the honour of the first bid lol

Hey if you can get it to power up again then that's £7.80 well spent just for the novelty factor...that's why I bought a Schneider triple just so I had a triple...tho mine is mint and fully working ;-)

The seller lives 4 miles from here so I don't need to pay postage just rock by and pick them all up tmoz.

I ended up buying a 9494 off the same guy when I picked this up with two 555s. As soon as I picked this O General up I gave it to my mate who's dad is an Oldskool TV and audio repair guy to see if he can bring it back to life as it is a complete non starter. As soon as it comes home I will get more pictures, but I can't find anything on the net about it and it's one hell of a big box. The cover it has is very nice as well .

Sounds like you got a very nice collection of machines to play with; good on you!  I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of the rare O General, I was following that one on ebay!
