What a day for finds...

tster - 2013-11-30 07:44

So today at a local car boot type event I found a house clearance from a really old electronics dude.... more components than you could wave a stick at. I purchased:

Phillips Transistor radio 90 RL 120

Mitsubishi FX-604L 3 Band 10 Transistor Radio

Sanyo M9800T

Hitachi 3d Sound TRK-3D2E

Total cost £8 !!

The Hitachi sounds real great but I absolutely love the look of the Mitsubishi.

Here is one of the units I bought, now it might not look like much but it was cheap and with a clean and some TLC it is sounding great.

Don't knock it there are some pretty decent sounding monos out there...I had a nice Sony one but in a moment of madness I sent it to andyboombox for free, I even paid the shipping lol...d'oh

The Hitachi 3D2 is a nice little boomer. Good sound too, so long as you don't overdo the bass.
