Put the box on batteries and the hum is probably gone...

hey soundboy is this your unit? looks in very nice shape!!!
my conion also hums when nothing is playing, just lower the volume to minimum it helps alot and crackles when going from stereo to wide, just for the fist time then its fine, i found out that is better to keep them in rotation or something always go bad in them.
