I've always been intrigued by these, but this model doesn't appear to accept batteries.

radio.raheem - 2013-11-27 06:01

you are correct retro no batts....a freind bought me it as i was so low about the m90 plus i bought him a plasma tv a year ago....what do you think of her looks .....nicer looking than the kaboom me thinks

Looks very high tech, I would love to own one of these to use around the house to play my mini disc, I have tons of them.

brutus442 - 2013-11-27 08:16

No batteries?

These aren't my cup of tea, but others (Nick and yourself) give the Kabooms thumbs up, so maybe this unit packs the same wallop.

I also don't have any MD's

radio.raheem - 2013-11-28 01:11

I don't have any MD ether...by the looks of them they are rare and expensive on ebay...

tried a few portable MD in the 90's but tha amps seemed weedy so i never bought one

Retro i can't get you're pdf to load

Looks nice Reno.

themightyrepairer - 2013-11-28 03:58

I had one of these.. you will be impressed.. I made a video on YouTube a few years back.. it has bass/treble/mid controls just like the DP200.. the subs are only 4-5 inches if I remember.. but boy can they shake hard..

radio.raheem - 2013-11-28 04:14

Thanks seb ....by the looks and what i have read she seems to be the predecessor to the kaboom..made in 1998...Thanks MR im looking forward to her...always wanted one but couldn't find a nice enough example

Ok regarding this boombox and seller.....

This one sounds awsome belive it or not i think the bass on this BEATS the dp200....it sounds almost valve like it's so deep....which is amazing considering the woofers are only 4..5 inch,,,,its outstanding....and almost as loud as the dp200.....the highs are not quite as good as the dp200 but still better than all the other kabooms....and it has a real mid control unlike the dp200.....i think even though she dosen't take batts she is well worth getting...BEST MD cd player on the market.....

Regarding the seller outstanding he knocked £160 off the price as the boombox was suposed to have an issue with the radio which i can't find....Great exmas bonus for me..there is another one of these on ebay now...i SUGEST sombody buy it from here.....cheerz guys

I know your into new tech boomers like me.. actually I think you and I have the same taste in high tech boomers like the Panasonic DT series and the JVC's from overseas I see you post pics all the time of those 1990's high tech boomers.. do you own any?

retro - 2013-12-09 04:58

I've been looking at those high tech eggs alot lately but I dont own any. Hopefully I can get my hands on a black or red GX-M10 from over seas after the holidays.

Thank you for your recent inquiry in regards to the Sharp GXM10 Audio System. Currently the only color that the GXM10 is being designed with is the burnt orange. For future releases we recommend checking our website at http://www.sharpusa.com/Home/F...rtainment/Audio.aspx .
