Boombox in film!

ptaka69 - 2012-11-28 08:23

Hey!  If you haven't seen the film "The Last Dragon"(80's film) then you have missed out on the classic boomboxes in the film!  I'm not 100% sure but I think there was a JVC-RC M70 that was stepped on and destroyed in the film in a movie theater cause they were playing music during a bruce lee film!  That was a real heartbreaker to see as they destroyed one just for the purpose of making a film!  The other I think was a Conion!

Hope you will not hate me for this reply, but they were trolling hard that movie and got only what they deserved, in the only language that they could understand. As for the producers, they did not got the cookie from the master saying that some times 30 years later the box will have a vintage collector status. It was just something that you were able to go to the store and buy new that time. It-s like somebody smashed your ipod these days.

I'm not mad.  Your right that back in the 80's nobody would guess that those boxes would be collectable today.
