not me RETRO, iv,e never even seen one of these units let alone have one.
these must be really rare pieces im sure, i do like the vertical tape loading feature, very cool

i wonder if conion is truly affiliated with Onkyo
they use the same block letters for their brand name...

Wow, that's an awesome design. Where did you find those images?

Very impractical though. Nobody with half a brain would carry around a walkman that big, requiring an optional leather strap that probably cost $100.

Knowing Onkyo's reputation, this unit was probably only purchased by rich eccentrics with more money than brains. It probably got dropped off the market after only 1 year. That still doesn't take away from the fact that I'd like to own one.

It's an old brochure I ordered from Japan a few years ago.
