Sanyo M9500-2K

New to this hobby and just had a few quick questions...

What year was this stereo released? Can't seem to find anything on the net about it except from Japanese sites.

Battery coils are rusted, whats the best method to clean them or should i just replace?

Thanks in advance

Please Post a picture of this front

and back

of your Boombox and any which way you can as
i would and I suppose the rest of us would
like to see the monster that you speak of
front back and the

affected area

would be great
thanks James

It was in perfectly good working order about 4 years ago but I've struggled to get the thing working since

Thanks TPR!

I need to get it up and running real quick. I want to put it in this film clip while i'm poppin and lockin for a dance competition. The comp ends soon... Any good solutions to cleaning the rust off the coils?

Cheers

When 'ez.' said it's not a monster, I can understand why he said that. The speaker grilles are big, but the woofers behind them are much smaller. My Sanyo M4550K is the same. It sounds crap. Weak, tinny sound with no bass. Frown It looks great though.

Well i have used in the past either emory cloth = sandpaper but last longer and or sometimes my dremel tool with a little polishing wheel on it or get 2 new dime-store " D " cell flashlights and rip out the spring in the bottem and afix or solder these in place of what rusted ones you have ....

Success!!!!!!!!! Got it back up and running! Just pulled the coils out and sanded them and connected a wire. Pretty simple stuff but I'm bloody happy.
Thanks DM4Y, TPR & Retro
