AO this is classic stuff!!

Out of this catalog I only have the D50 (i was first on my street to embrace the disc). It however is not "splashable"

God those headphones take me back..............

Oh wow, I gave up sniffing a set of those out years ago.  Probably the finest portable cans from that era.

A great catalogue Cris, thanks for sharing

Hey, no worries guys, it's my absolute pleasure to share this stuff, I'm only sorry I don't have much more.

Cris, this collection is superb. So many nice models. I regret selling my WM-22 to a museum a few years back when I see nice shots of the same model. The whole range is great. And I notice a certain WM-75. In Blue. I may need a cigarette.

ao - 2012-02-23 09:37

I know where there is a blue one for sale

The variety is amazing. The WM-22 was my first. A Xmas gift around '84. I actually never wished for one, so I was taken by complete surprise.

Unfort., it didn't last too long. I guess I dropped it once and it broke. I did find that the strap looks stupid. I never imagined walking around with it "like a girl".

Somehow, SONY has always been one of my favorite brands. The DD was/is legend but broke to soon, too. My last portable cassette player used to be a Panasonic ( a brand I act. disliked until I bought their flavor of "Walkman". Forgot the model but it had Dolby B plus a nice 3 or 5 EQ, auto reverse if I'm not mistaken.)

30 years old and still working great!
